Google Ads & HubSpot for Ecommerce
You're getting clicks. The question is whether your feed, your pages, and your tracking are working together.
Sound Familiar?
We've managed Google Ads for ecommerce brands across skincare, snacks, pool supplies, vehicle protection, fashion, and grocery. The pattern is almost always the same — the account is being optimised in isolation.
Your product feed is holding you back
Titles are manufacturer defaults. Descriptions are thin or missing. Categories are wrong. Google Shopping can only show products for searches it can match — and right now, you're invisible for half the terms your buyers use.
Your product pages were built for browsing, not buying
You're optimising for revenue, not profit
You're getting junk traffic and can't figure out why
Most ecommerce accounts don't need more spend. They need the feed, the pages, and the tracking working together.

Get the Basics Right and the Results Follow
Most ecommerce performance gaps aren't strategic — they're foundational. We fix the basics first, then optimise from there.
HubSpot CRM
- Shopping and Performance Max campaigns structured by product category, margin, and performance tier
- Product feed optimisation — keyword-enriched titles, complete attributes, correct Google categories
- Brand vs. non-brand campaign separation so you actually know your acquisition cost
- Seasonal and promotional campaign planning aligned to inventory and demand
- Conversion tracking that captures revenue accurately — including enhanced conversions and fixing the double-counting or missing-purchase issues we see in almost every account
Google Ads
- Post-purchase automation — review requests, cross-sell sequences, replenishment reminders for consumable products
- Customer segmentation by purchase behaviour, order value, and frequency
- Abandoned cart and browse abandonment recovery
- Customer lifetime value tracking — because repeat customers are cheaper than new ones
- Integration with Shopify, WooCommerce, or your platform for real-time data sync

Get the basics right and the results come.
We can't say this enough. Most ecommerce accounts we take over aren't suffering from a lack of advanced strategy. They're suffering from broken tracking, a messy feed, generic landing pages, and no structure. We've seen accounts go from "we're getting tonnes of junk" to strong performance without doing anything clever — just fixing the fundamentals and then optimising from there.
Feed quality is the most underrated lever in Shopping.
We've seen impression share jump significantly just from rewriting product titles to include the terms buyers actually search for. No bid changes. No budget increase. Just better data in the feed. Most people don't touch the feed after initial setup. That's a mistake.
Stop optimising for ROAS. Start optimising for profit.
ROAS is the metric everyone reports on. But it treats $1 of revenue from your highest-margin product the same as $1 from your lowest. Smart bidding scales whatever has the best ROAS — which isn't necessarily the product making you the most money. Once margin data is in the conversion value, Google bids on profit instead of sales. The product mix it scales after that is usually different — and almost always healthier for the business.
Post-purchase is free revenue.
For consumable or repeatable products — skincare, snacks, pool chemicals, rust protection — automated replenishment reminders consistently outperform re-acquisition campaigns on cost-per-sale. It's the cheapest revenue you'll ever generate, and most ecommerce brands aren't doing it at all.
Construction Results That Speak for Themselves
“"It was a complex and time sensitive project, with millions of data points to migrate and a bunch of different integrations, and Alyssa was at the heart of its success - she knows Hubspot inside and out, asked difficult questions, didn't take the easy route (aka 'I'll just let them do this dumb idea because it's easier for me') when she didn't think it was in our best interest, and basically went above and beyond in ensuring we had a great CRM which was using Hubspot's full capacity. Alyssa is a great mix of analytical and creative who is a great marketer as well as a Hubspot expert, so she really understands where you're coming from and thinks things through from an end user perspective. Wholeheartedly recommend!"
”
“"We have a unique business with many moving parts and a wide, wide range of needs from different teams and different team members. Add to that, we are a growing start up so in many ways we're still working out our own best approach to things. Alyssa did an amazing job of working with all of the different teams and team members to understand what we're doing currently, what we want to be doing, and help to guide us in how to get there. Not only did Alyssa help to streamline our CRM, but she also helped to solve problems we didn't even realise we had!"
”
“"We are absolutely thrilled to write this glowing review for Alyssa from Gather n Grow! Alyssa has truly been a game-changer for our business. Since she stepped in, she has streamlined our operations, ensuring that every aspect of our business is not only covered but optimised for success. Her impressive organisational skills, professional demeanor, and honest approach are so refreshing."
